I'M SORRY, I'M ALREADY SOLD.
My jaw dropped when I saw this. This might be Enid Collins most original and unique design ever. This is the only one I've ever seen with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. And there's even a snake! I love the tiny rhinestone boobies on Eve.
Excellent condition. The is a small bit of edge wear right on the top trim, left side only. This can be seen in photo #4 below and, also, in the full-sized photos of the front. It is fairly insignificant.
There are no stains, no yellow foxing spots, and no water stains. The leather (yes, leather) handle and clasp are both in excellent condition. I see no missing decorations. The metal rivets are shiny. The inside is very clean, possibly unused.
Measures 10-1/2" tall x 11-1/2 wide at the bottom, narrowing to 9-1/2" wide at the top. It is 4" deep at the bottom.
This bag is not dated so I have no idea if it was an early or later design but it is an Enid bag with her "ec" initials outside and "Copyright Enid Collins" stamped inside - not seen in photo as I just discovered it; it's on the side across from the running horse stamp.
Every time I look at this bag, it makes me smile! Have never seen another in all my 20 plus years of collecting.
