(Slight yellowing area under clasp in photo is a shadow and is not on the purse.)
If there were a trademark Enid purse, it would surely be her famous RoadRunner bags. (Perhaps they have lots of road runners in Texas.) This is dated 1966 inside the bag. Measures 12" wide x 10-1/2" high x 4" deep.
Near Mint. This handbag has 2 light signs of wear: There are light scratches on the wooden bottom. There are 3 rhinestones with scratching discoloration showing through from the backings. All 3 are clear stones located next to each other on the same decoration, (shown above, click to enlarge.) Only the top most clear stone is really at all noticeable and looks like silver spotting.
There's no nicks or cracking on the leather trim, clasp, or handles. The handles actually look better than the photo below. The stones are beautifully shiny with no rubbing wear and none missing.
There are no stains, spots, or dirt on the canvas. Anything that looks otherwise is simply a shadow. The inside is wonderfully clean and undamaged.
