Enid Collins Love Box Purse + Bonus
Oops, sorry, just got here and I'm already sold.
One of Enid Collin's most priced designs, what's not to LOVE? As a bonus, we we are including an orginal magazine ad for this exact purse, dated February 1970, one of the last ads before Enid sold her company.
This is a small bag measuring 8-1/2" wide x 4" high x just shy of 2" deep. The ad is on an 8-1/2 x 11-1/2" page from (we believe) The New Yorker magazine. The ad itself measures 5" x 2-1/4". This is the original ad, not a copy. Would be great to display with the bag.
The handbag is in near mint condition. The only noteable wear is some small scratch marks on the top edge near the handle. You can easily see this in the above photo - click for a close-up view. There are no cracks, stains, missing or messed up varnish, missing or damaged decorations. The handle is in fine condition. The metal eye's that connect it to the box are somewhat less shiny that the metal clasp. The inside is immaculate, including the full-length mirror. The ad is protected by a plastic cover and has no tears or stains. Please check all photos to see the fine condition of this bag.
