Enid's Fruit Basket
SORRY, I'M ALREADY SOLD.
Vivid colors against darkest black, this bowl of fruit really stands out. In fact, some of the leaves actually stick right out with only the stems attached. This bag is signed 1963, so is 50 years old!
Excellent Condition. Appears unused, but has some shelf or handling wear. Some of the leaves have rubbing wear on the green paint. We show close ups of the most noticeable areas in photos #2 and #3 below. Then in photo #4, we show a zoomed in photo of the entire front to demonstrate how barely noticeable this is when viewing the whole bag.
There are no signs of wear on the handles, clasp, trim, wooden bottom, or inside the bag. There are no missing rhinestones and all sparkle like crazy, very colorful. There are no apparent missing leaves, however the pointy sticking out leaves could be removed and you would never know, unless maybe there was only one left.
This is definitely one of Enid more detailed, interesting desgins from early in her career. Small imperfections can mean big discounts at Vintage Purse Page.
